The Mark Hopkins Hotel at #1 Nob Hill will be our address, the influences that have made San Franciso San Francisco will be our agenda. San Francisco has welcomed The Decorative Arts Trust royally and opened many doors. The Fine Arts Museums - Legion of Honor and the new (still to open) De Young Museum - will host Trust members for special collection tours. Private homes, important northern California architecture and the new Asian Museum have invited Trust members to see their treasures. From the great wine movement and the Napa Valley to the pillared porches of the Berkeley hills, from the early Spanish Mission to the excellent and varied collections of today, our San Francisco Symposium will be see it all and put the pieces together with the best experts.
