| GOING, GOING, GONE... Kelly and Randy Schrimsher donated this beautiful and important object for auction as a way of raising funds for the Trust. It was hammered down at $2000.The Schrimshers are hoping that this will start a trend for other Trust members to give a redundant or unused object from their collection to be put to auction. The Trust is currently looking for a donation to be included in the Americana sales in New York in January 2011. That auction would then be incorporated into our VIP Antiques Weekend in New York making it a fun and exciting time for all. At Christie’s Auction in New York City on June 17, a very special wooden candelabra made by Sam Maloof was auctioned for the benefit of The Decorative Arts Trust.
